Vivienne Teaches Podcasting
In her role as the Audio & Podcasting Instructor at YR Media, Vivienne has taught over 40 young people, ages 12-23, how to create, produce, and edit podcasts. Since she started teaching at YR Media in March 2021, she has helped young people create and produce 40+ podcasts while under her mentorship.
Teaching both a beginner’s class and an advanced class, Vivienne helps students:
- Select their topic
- Outline their podcast
- Script their podcast
- Conduct research needed for their podcast
- Learn how to use recording gear and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) to record and edit their podcasts
- Sound design their podcast
Vivienne has mixed, exported, and created visualizers for all student podcasts.
I have helped my students produce impactful podcasts on the following topics:
